FELIP’s latest pop rock track, Fake Faces, sings about teenage rebellion.
Kanako, bisaya for mine, is the 2023 year-ender track from FELIP; an ode to everyone who has supported him this COM•PLEX year.
As the name suggests, FELIP’s debut EP is a play on the many meanings of the word ‘complex’. Often used to describe something difficult to understand, a complex may also mean a facet of a person’s unconscious, influenced by their thoughts, emotions, and experiences.
‘BULAN’ marks another milestone in FELIP’s journey as an artist as he continues to push out the boundaries for local pop music. Combining the elements of hip-hop, rap, and rock music with indigenous Filipino mythology, folklore, and artistry, his comeback single is an absolute visual and auditory treat for local and international audiences alike.
‘PALAYO’ is a sultry, RNB take on the art of moving away from a toxic relationship. It starts with trap beats that slowly progress into an addictive, almost-electrifying hook.
The song is written in three languages, most notably of which is in Bisaya, one of the most-spoken languages in the Philippines.
In celebration of 30 years of Warner Music in the Philippines, FELIP covers ‘Moving Closer’, originally written by Anthony Libre and performed by Never the Strangers.
